Add camera to toon boom harmony and make zoom in
Hello, today we will discuss together how to zoom in and zoom out of scenes and snapshots with the camera, using the Toon Boom program, and the method is very easy and takes only a few minutes, and it is using one tool.
The editing program I have always used is Filmora, for free purchase and download, below
Get the software from Here
And the background drawing program that I always use is Clip studio paint, for purchase and download for free, below.
The camera
The tool is the camera, and it is dedicated to zooming in and out of scenes, and the camera can be attached to the character who is moving, or you can move it right and left and a lot of things we can do and today is dedicated to zoom in and zoom out.
The scene is ready
It is necessary to prepare the scene in advance, as we see that the girl is in the frame, under her is the floor and behind her is the sky, and each one has his own layer or “layer” as I said in previous times.
Add camera
Click on the + icon on the left side
A list appears and we choose Camera
Then we add the peg to it, which is responsible for moving the camera and does not move without it.
Key frame
We go to the side above the timeline, and there we find the keyframe, add one to the first frame, and another to the frame where we want the camera to stop moving.
Don't forget to be in the camera layer.
Zoom
And now we click on the "Transform tool", which, as we said in previous times, is the one that moves the characters.
Then we go to the edge of the frame, which is the edge of the scene square, and we pull the scene outward, “Zoom out,” and then inward, “Zoom in.”
Final scene
This is what the final result will look like, and it shows in front of you that it is getting close to the character, and in this way you can animate the scenes as you like.
I hope that you have benefited from this simple explanation of one of the most important features of the Toon Boom Harmony anime program, and I will bring you more explanations and future lessons about more tools of the animation and animation program.
