Animate Walking People Without fbf | Toon Boom Harmony
Hello, there was a time when I did not download the lessons, due to work pressure, which delayed me from the blog, but here I have taken a short vacation, in order not to miss you!
So, today we will review together how to animate anime walking people in the street, from only one copy, and this is a method that I follow in order to save effort and time, and it is enough to give the scene a lot of life.

As we all know, the Japanese anime, in which the secondary characters are fixed, because of the much time it takes, and the other reason is because they use the traditional "frame by frame" method, which takes a long time.
So I'm going to show you an easier way, which is "cut out", and through the computer program, and there is no need to move all the people, we just move one person, and that's enough
First, we draw and animate one person while he is walking, so that each part of the body is drawn in its own layer, the left hand forward, the left leg backward, and vice versa.

Do not forget to raise the character's body slightly when the feet come together, and lower it when the feet are apart, but very slightly.
The same applies to the copy of the woman, we delete the legs, and draw instead of them a long skirt, and we keep the feet only, but we can get rid of them as well.
We copy the woman, and we change the color of the dress, as shown in front of you, and the color of the hat, and the hair pattern, it is up to your taste here

Notice how I slightly modified the hat
I removed the roses
I colored the hat pink
Changed the shape of the limbs
The same thing for the hair, the color and the hairstyle, and I added accessories for the ears.
And changed the shape of the eyes
I previously drew several shapes for eyes, and saved them in the program, and whenever I needed eyes, I added them to the scene, and this saved a lot of time for me.
And I repeated the command, and added several copies, as many as I wanted, and the gait will also be copied with each one.
A glimpse of how to change the color of clothes, with ease
After finishing the characters walking in the street, I distribute them in the frame, so that the characters farther from the camera are smaller, “marked in red” and those close by, larger, “marked in yellow”.
On the left, I specified for you the place of distribution
And here, each one of them, walking in a different direction, and the direction of walking, I marked for you in yellow
And this is the final scene, with the addition of the background to the clip. I hope that you will apply the method, and with any program you have, in order to come out with the least damage!
