Avoid these mistakes when adding dialogue balloons to manga
Welcome, today we will quickly review how and where to add dialogue balloons to the manga, as each scene or "panel" has a balloon through which the characters speak to each other, to readers, or even to themselves, and today we will see some common mistakes and how they can be We avoid it easily, so follow the lesson with me.

When we finish drawing the manga scene inside the frame, it's time to add the balloons in the place we specified for them during the "sketch" layout.
And the correct place is around what is near the character, or around it inside the square, or a little outside it. It is wrong to add the balloon above the character's body and there is enough space.
Note: When we start laying out the manga page before drawing, we must first determine where to add the speech bubble
This is the correct method, as you can see in the picture, my friends, we removed the balloon from the girl's body, and it became more visible in the scene, unlike the first time.
As for here, the scene cannot remove the balloon from the character, so we may have to add it above the drawing, but not above the face of the manga character, unless it is necessary for that "such as giving a dramatic character." As for usually, we will add the dialogue balloon at the hair or shoulders, etc.
Wrong places
Here the speech bubble goes outside the bounds of the page, and will not be visible to readers, nor will it be visible when you print your manga.
the right places
As long as there is enough space inside the frame, why not add the balloon inside the scene right?! As you notice with me, there are two girls in the scene, and the space above them is vast, and there is even no background as well, so here is the right place.
Suggestions for manga speech bubbles
Do you see the arrow that comes out of the balloon and heads towards the young man's head?
That's what determines the character who speaks, and it's boring to draw it straight, it will look normal
It is better to pull the arrow from the bottom or from the right or left side
That is, to be in an oblique shape, that will add more aesthetics to the scene
There is a common mistake among some mangakas, which is adding a very long dialogue to one balloon, which leads readers to get bored and not read it carefully, so I will give you some solutions and ideas that many use.
Dividing the same dialogue into two or three balloons, which makes reading easier and more focused, especially when the text is important and cannot be shortened further.
For example, but not limited to, you can add two bubbles, one below the other on the left or right, provided that they are adjacent
The second suggestion is to add another balloon directly below the first, so that they are adjacent as well, so above it is the dialogue from its beginning, and below it is the continuation.
The third proposal is to add another dialogue balloon below the first, but they are united by one line. This is in case you have space inside the manga scene, as you can see here, as the character has enough space around it to add dialogue bubbles in any way we want.
The fourth suggestion is to add two balloons spaced in the same frame, both of which refer to the same character who is speaking, and this is a very useful method, when you add the number you want, and the readers will not feel bored as long as the text is divided into parts
The fifth suggestion is to add two balloons adjacent to each other. Many may not use this method, but the matter depends on the scene itself. If there is no need to add them near each other, then there is nothing wrong with that, especially when the scene is horizontal.
